Celebrating Our Fortieth Anniversary
Join us in celebrating 40 years of God’s faithfulness in a ministry devoted to promoting missions and recruiting workers for the mission of Christ’s church!
What began in 1967 with Dr. Dick L. Van Halsema is moving forward in faith under the leadership of his son, Pastor Clark Van Halsema, and a growing team of volunteers and alumni. Biblically grounded with a passion for discipleship and evangelism, this independent organization has served believers from 54 denominations. In 1967, the first Christian Witness Tour (CWT) visited Eastern Europe. Subsequent CWTs have provided firsthand mission information to participants who visited Africa, Asia, Europe, Mexico, the Middle East and South America. In 1968, Mexico Summer Training Session (STS) was launched, and became a trend-setting Field Training Program with its unique blend of intensive cross-cultural immersion and vocational evaluation. In the 1980s, short-term Service projects were set up in Mexico, and new partner-projects are being developed by invitation from believers in other countries and continents.
